Wednesday – September 17: Depart from Central Ohio on our deluxe motorcoach, drive into the beautiful mountain of east Tennessee arriving in Ashville NC and check into the Holiday Inn, Ashville, NC.  (D) Bring your camera.   

 

Thursday – September 18: We start with a self-guided tour of the Biltmore Estate, surrounded by 8,000 acres.  The mansion was built in 1895 by George Washington Vanderbilt.  This 250-room, 35-bedrooms, 65 fireplaces, French Renaissance-style chateau includes the Vanderbilt family china, crystal and art collection.  The tour also includes the 75-acre formal gardens and lunch at the Deerpark Restaurant.  After lunch, we visit The Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center tucked away among pristine natural surroundings.  The center exists to train, equip and encourage believers as they share the gospel worldwide.  We drive to Charlotte, NC and check into the Sleep Inn and Suites. Friday – September 19:  We start the day with a visit to JAARS Center, Waxhaw, NC.  This tour includes a close look at Bible translation, aviation demonstrations, and how missionaries’ goods are shipped.  (Wear comfortable walking shoes).  Lunch on your own in the JAARS Center Dining room.  After lunch, we tour the new Billy Graham Library that chronicles the man, ministry, and message of Billy Graham. Located only a short walk from the Library, you will see the replicated Graham family home decorated with many of the original materials.  View the grave of Ruth Bell Graham, wife and best friend of Billy.  There is also an on-site bookstore, Ruth’s Attic, for browsing.  We will visit Uptown Charlotte with a step-on-guide and see their financial district and headquarters of two of our nation’s largest banks.  This evening, we will see a new production, The Gospel According to Tennessee, at the NarroWay Dinner Theater.  (B. Saturday – September 20:  After breakfast, we depart for home with a greater appreciation for the Ministry of Billy Graham.  (B)

CancellationAll cancellations must be in writing.  You may send a substitute.  If you cancel before August 17, 2008, there is a 100% refund less a $5.00 per person cancellation fee.  If you cancel on or after August 17, 2008, there is no refund, but you may send a substitute.  We recommend you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance.   Mosher Tours reserves the right to alter the itinerary and cancel a tour departure due to insufficient participation.
